About Us

We are a perfect combination of maintained primary, voluntary aided primary, academies, special and secondary schools, all working and developing together to provide the best quality of education and rich curriculum experiences for all our pupils.

Our core purposes are

  • Continuous school improvement through self evaluation, bespoke support, challenge and development
  • Work with integrity and collectively with partners so that all schools are supported in a timely and proactive manner
  • Professional learning with a purpose so we are the best we can be!
  • To further develop high quality teaching and learning in order to achieve the highest standards for our children
  • Through ambitious curriculum offers, to equip our children and students with the knowledge, skills and experiences they need to become successful and emotionally intelligent young people
  • To develop a sustainable model of system leadership across our schools; building capacity and nurturing future leaders
  • To have a collegiate approach so our Head Teachers and all members of our school communities feel their wellbeing is truly valued

Our model enables schools to join at the level which is most suitable for their current needs. We offer a ‘Bronze’ level which provides the core activities and support, for example, regular Head Teacher business meetings, Deputy Head development sessions, an annual school improvement focused conference. Our full ‘Silver’ offer incorporates all elements of Bronze plus a full package of Professional Development which has been linked specifically to either targeted areas for improvement or national / Ofsted changes and expectations. For the current Professional Development programme please see the relevant page. Our development programme is of the highest quality and we only work alongside recommended providers.

In addition, all schools in our collaborative support each other’s development by utilising our own strengths and priority areas. We use a coaching model where appropriate to continually develop our leaders and staff at all levels. Pupils and Staff across schools have opportunities to work together through such events as moderation, network meetings, sporting events and community and arts projects.

If you would like more information about the work of our collaborative or are interested in attending any of our professional development programmes then please get in touch via the contact details for the Strategic Operations Manager in the footer of this page.
